Courtesy of the Guatemalan government, this large sinkhole in the middle of Guatemala City, Guatemala opened back up again after Tropical Storm Agatha passed over the Central American city. I’ve seen a few articles on this online but have yet to see an explanation for what would happen if you fell down it.

The Consumerist reports that British retailer Waitrose will begin selling regular toilet paper containing trace amounts of cashmere extract luxury “loo rolls” that will “put a smile on your face.”* Too bad winter in Austin is over, because at 3.50/roll the ladies in our lives could have had a nice selection of disposable scarves for the season!

* The “Butt Rocket” crew looks like it probably could have used some of this.

Joan Goddard has a nice and simple gem, A Cup Of Jo. Where a couple of pictures she included in a post sent us searching into the internet for the works of Alfred Eisenstaedt. The German-American photojournalist is best known for his V-J Day photograph, but we like his photos of an audience of children attending a puppet theater performance in Paris, circa 1963. The top shot is captured at the moment in the play when St. George slays the dragon.
