Hundreds Frozen In Grand Central Station

improvI’m sure many of you have already heard of this improvisational acting troop out of NYC called Improv Everywhere, but they are so incredibly cool that I thought I ought to acknowledge them here on MIFG anyways.  My favorite of their stunts is this clip where they send 200 people into Grand Central Station for a planned “freeze.”  I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like to see it in person.

Other ingenious ideas of theirs include sending around 80 shirtless men into an Abercrobie and Fitch, tons of people dressed in khakis and blue polos into a Best Buy, and their most famous tradition – the No Pants Subway Ride.

I dont know if they are affiliated with these guys at all, but the Austin flash mob people did one of these on the south mall the other day
