CA Supreme Court Agrees with Prop 8, Bans Gay Marriage

Gay Marriage ProtestEarlier today it was decided by a 6-1 vote to uphold the ruling of Proposition 8 in the Supreme Court of the state of California. This means that homosexual couples in California will be able have civil unions, but that the right to be married will be limited to heterosexual couples. Unfortunately it still seems we have a long ways to go on that whole “equality” thing we claim to be all about here in America. Picture via Huffington Post, news via New York Times
